This photo is AI, so no hate on the hair. I rarely post kids online.
If you were ever bullied in school (which I'm pretty confident you were at some point) you know how isolating life can feel. You're already going through a myriad of changes from hormones, to responsibility and place in society that being bullied can make you feel like you have no place to belong and it can feel like it's the end of everything.
Being involved in sports and having multiple social groups can be the difference mentally to feeling like you have no one who understands you, to knowing that there's someone else you can connect with at an anticipated time, like soccer on a Wednesday.
And vice versa, if you're having some issues with sport peers, there can be space and clarity within school friends.
And of course there's a collection of benefits for children with exercise including;
Improved mental health
Better mood & self esteem
Improved sleep
Improved cognitive function
And imagine how much easier your life would be now if your parents put you in regular sports and held you to them!
