I hurt my calf & I've done nothing to help myself.

About a month ago I hurt my calf when I was running. If a client had done the same I would recommend they go to a physio, but I haven't and here's why. 🩻
I can't afford to go at the moment. I made a dentists appointment a couple of weeks ago which has taken priority.
This would be the perfect opportunity for me to stop training and say oops no I'm injured I need to rest. Which is completely true, I do need to rest/ stop working my calf while I don't know what's happening, but I don't need to stop completely. 💤
There's are so many other body parts which can still be worked, and styles of exercise I can swap with running to keep myself active and reaching my goals (happy & healthy).
And in a couple of weeks I will absolutely make myself a physio appointment because I can only get better with support. 🩺
So when my clients tell me they can't afford a physio of course I understand. Instead of letting them stop because they're injured, we make adjustments to ensure they can keep moving & being part of our community while their body heals, and until they can get the nuanced support they need.
If you're using an injury to stop training, then don't. There's so many good things for you to continue with that will keep you happy & healthy.
If your whole body aches and you don't really know why 🤪, it's probably a good sign that you need to move and our 7 day free trial would be perfect for that! 🎟️
