Will you promise me something?

You're making yourself feely guilty and anxiety worse when you don't exercise.

 

You've made the promise and mental commitment to move your body 'tomorrow', then tomorrow comes around and you find the time to clean the house, scroll on your phone, or hit the shops for something you need, but you let your promise slide.

 

Now your brain starts to spiral 🌀, even if you don't notice it.

 

Feelings of guilt, frustration, worthiness, and other negative thoughts start to circulate.

 

Surprise surprise you feel worse.

 

Not just because you didn't exercise, but also because you broke a promise to yourself. This action starts to erode your self trust and self esteem, which over time starts to diminish your confidence and causes you to start questioning all your decisions and intentions.

 

In contrast to this, following through with your promises shows you're following through with your thoughts through action increasing confidence and self esteem.

 

Stop breaking promises to yourself and be the you that you know you are.
